Guitar Decatur Jam Camp Fall Session (September 13 – 17)

Guitar Decatur Jam Camp (GDJC) Fall Session is designed for beginner and intermediate guitar and bass players between the ages of 11-16 who want to immerse themselves in Rock, Blues, Jazz and Songwriting. The camp will cover specific topics within each genre, apply advanced techniques to repertoire, and work with the student to master their instrument. Camp clinics will focus on musicianship skills – including theory, improvisation, ear training, playing with a rhythm section as well as home recording. Guest artists will lead clinics throughout the week and students will enjoy one-on-one session time with camp instructors. Camp students will also have many opportunities to perform during the week.

Camp Hours and Information

Fall Session – September 13-17, 2010

Camp hours: Monday – Friday (9am to 4pm)

Tuition: $300 – includes: five full days of camp, GDJC gig bag (t-shirt, strings, picks, guitar strap, field trip to a professional recording studio and a professional photo shoot)
